I will ____ fill in the blank with whatever you will do today! My will for today is, I will eat clean and I will do 45 minutes of cardio. I was watching the Olympics last night and a swimmer who had just won a gold medal was asked what he did differently this time to win the gold (he had won a silver medal at the previous Olympics). His answer was "I said to myself that I will win, instead of maybe I'll win". Often when I am watching a phenomenal athlete, like Kobe Bryant or Tiger Woods, and I see them make what seems to be an impossible shot, I often say, "they willed" that shot. What that means to me is before they made that shot, they thought "that shot will go in".
I am happy to say that today I am back, 100%. I wasn't 100% on Saturday. I think my body was fighting off something. When I feel like that, the best thing for me to do is rest so that the next day I will be better. On Saturday I didn't even workout. Can you believe it? My body was feeling weak, and I thought it was because I haven't been eating as many carbs but that wasn't it. After I ate some extra carbs and drink Green Tea, I still felt that I had no energy. Now that is quite unusual for me to have caffeine and not have energy. I spent most of the day napping and eating. I was able to workout Sunday and Monday. Sundays are my rest days but I had to switch things up a bit. In addition to my lack of energy, my muscles looked flat and I felt skinny. I didn't even feel like Blogging and I was home for the entire day? Let's just say that Saturday wasn't the best day for me. But what a difference 24 hours make, on Sunday I was back to my old self.

It's crazy when you have days like that and then the next day you are fine...must be some muscle growing going on!! And don't worry about being flat, that's the name of the game at this point...you'll get carbs later on that will fill you right up :) You have no idea what you've got going on right now, cause you can't see it, but it's there ;)
